Privacy Policy

1. Eligibility

   • Referrals apply only to residential rental properties located within Nova Scotia.

   • The referred property must not already be under contract discussions with Hyatt Living.

2. Referral Submission

   • A completed referral form must be submitted for each individual property referral.

   • Referrals made verbally, by text, or email alone will not qualify.

3. Exclusivity of Referral Fee

   • Referral fees are paid on a one-referral-per-property basis.

   • No split or multiple referral fees will be issued for the same property.

4. Referral Acceptance

   • Hyatt Living reserves the right to verify eligibility and determine whether a referral qualifies under this program.

5. Successful Referral Definition

   • A referral is considered successful once:
     a) The referred property owner signs a Hyatt Living property management agreement; and
     b) A qualified tenant is successfully placed in the unit.

6. Payment Terms

   • Referral fees are issued within 30 days after the tenant’s lease start date.

   • Realtors receiving referral fees are responsible for reporting and remitting any applicable taxes.

7. Program Limitations

   • Self-referrals (referring your own property) are not eligible.

   • Referrals submitted after a property management agreement is signed will not qualify.

   • Renewal of a contract for subsequent years does not generate additional referral fees.

8. Administration

   • Hyatt Living will oversee all aspects of the management agreement and tenant placement process.

9. Program Changes

   • Hyatt Living reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice.

   • The terms in effect on the date a referral form is submitted will govern that referral.

10. Final Decision

    • Any questions or disputes regarding program eligibility or payment will be resolved at the sole discretion of Hyatt Living.
